July 15 1906
Richard Meyer zu Natrup establishes a varnish and paint wholesale in the Löwenstraße in Dortmund.
1920s
Relocation in the Hamburger Straße 33 in the inner city of Dortmund.
Under the company name Richard Meyer Elastic-Ferrugol Farbwerk are produced rust-protection and railwaywagon coatings.
Later modification of the addition Farbwerk in Farbenfabrik.
Mid of 1930s
The technical management assumes the son Richard Meyer zu Natrup, who just joined the company.

1967/1968
Another move to the current location in the Schlagbaumstrasse 198 in the district Dortmund-Sölde on the former colliery Margarethe.
Today
The Elastic Lack-und Farbenfabrik Meyer zu Natrup GmbH were initially managed together by the brothers Richard und Bernd Meyer zu Natrup in the third generation.
After the death of Richard Meyer zu Natrup in 2013 is now the younger brother Bernd Meyer zu Natrup as managing director responsible for the skills. A fourth generation is in in the starting blocks, so the existence is secured.
